Spaced- The Pitch

Today we learnt how to pitch idea.
The definition of a pitch; selling your idea in 25 words or less.
As i found out today this is a lot harder than it looks. After many attempts, bearing in mind we had only ten minutes, I finally came up with this one for the TV series Spaced:

"A present day take on everyday events in a dysfunctional couples life. Set in London this quirky comedy is identafiable and deals with contrasting dreamers."

We then had to come up for one for our favourite programme, which i found even harder as my is Shameless. What made this so difficult is that there is so much going on in shameless all the time as it follows lots of peoples lifes. This is my best attempt:

"This comedy drama set in the middle of a council estate tells the story of a neigbourhood riddled with sex drugs and secrets."

Our next task is to right a synopsis for Spaced in 300-500 words.
