Direction Unit: Shoot outcomes- costume

These are drawings that I did of the costumes I wanted my characters to be wearing.

This is what I wanted Tony to be wearing. I wanted him to be wearing smart clothing as it needs to be clear that he takes pride in his appearence. Even in his casual clothes, he is still smart and and well dressed. In the shoot the character s wearing exactly these clothes so has followed these guidelines very closely.

This is what I wanted Jaz to wear. Plain clothes as she doesnt like to stand out and prefers to blend into the background. In my shoot the character was wearing a blue top and blue jeans, so she followed the plain and boring dress theme.




For Maxxie's character there wasn't something specific i wanted him to wear. But he is quite fashionable so I told the actor to wear a fashionable top and skinny jeans. On the day he wore a white hollister top and skinny jeans. 



I wanted Chris to wear a bright orange top to show his colourful personality, but also tracksuit bottoms to portray his lazy, laid back side. On the day of the shoot the character was wearing exactly what i wanted him to.


The other two characters in the film are Michelle and Sid, these characters are wearing a towel and just in boxer shorts, so their costume is not as important.
