After thinking about it in more depth, I have decided not to go with '60 Minute Makeover,' as I don't think there is much to discuss on its genre and narrative. I have decided to go with either Channel 4's 'The Million Pound Drop.' I have always found game shows interesting and there is a lot to say about them especially what with 'The Million Pound Drop' being live. You can also play along with the show online and try and 'beat' the contestants on the program.

I went to the library yesterday and got two books out. 'The television genre book,' has a whole section on game shows and has been very helpful with what I have read so far. I plan to begin the draft of the essay this weekend.
