I have seen quite a few films over the summer so I thiought Id do some reviews.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

The legend of Harrow Woods
I am not a very big fan of horror films but I do like the thrill of watching them, so I thought Id give it a go as the tagline said, 'One of the scariest films to come out in the UK in years.' However I thought this film was rubbish. It was very slow paced, and there was next to none action until the very last 6 minutes. Filmed in a Blair Witch sort of way and the main setting being in the woods, it was very hard to see what was actually going on. The acting was not very good atall, with Jason Donovan putting on a very poor Americian accent. The cheesy sepia flashbacks did not make much sense and seemed to not add anything to the story. For a 2011 film, the special effects weren't very good at all, the room filled up with blood numerous times and it just looked awful.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2
Having previously seen the first one, Hennie deceided we would go and see the first one at the cinema! Even though this is a childrens film, I had not laughed so much in ages. Its about an akward teenager, who with his short pudgy best friend takes on life and all its battles. With a brother that constantly bullies him and parents that never side with him he plans revenges on his family. This film has funny characters, a geeky ginger boy and a ridiculiously smart asian boy, that just makes this film hilarious. Its just a short feel good film thats worth watching for a good laugh.
I love the Diary of a Wimpy kid films!
