Pre Production: Comissioning

Today I have sent my first email out to a graphic designer, of the chance of designing me a logo. I know this particular graphic designer through uni and he is also a friend. This is a copy of the email I sent to him.

"My project that I am working on at the moment, is an adaptation on the children's book 'The Suitcase Kid' by Jacqueline Wilson. Obviously as it is already a book it has its own logo, which I have attached. I wanted to give whichever graphic designer takes this on a lot of freedom with it. Obviously font and colours suitable for kids. So bright colours and crazy font. Apart from that it could be anything. Maybe even include a picture of a suitcase. I know you have a lot on but wouldn't need a final piece to at least March. If you could just let me know if you could take it on or not that would be great, whenever you get a chance."
