As live: My completed proposal

So pitching day is finally upon tomorrow! Today i finished my pitch complete with a powerpoint presentation and logo. I am very pleased with all my hard work and idea so lets just hope the pitch goes to plan!
This is my treatment for the proposed show, 'Best of Britain:'

1 x 30’
Pilot
ITV
7.30PM
Saturday Evenings

2012 is the perfect time to celebrate Britain and being British.

My unique idea is not like any other chat show on our screens at the moment. ‘Best of Britain’ will fill this gap in the market and bring entertainment to homes across Britain because of its wide audience range.  ‘Best of Britain’ is a brand new chat show with a challenge that celebrates Britain and all things British.

The presenter will chat to the three guests about why they are proud of Britain and what makes them think they are the ‘Best of Britain.’ They will also discuss typically British things such as Tea and The queen. The presenter will then get the guests to guess what is in the ‘Top 10 Things Britain is Known For’ and the audience will also participate until the majority of answers are guessed.  The show will finish on a quick fire quiz for fun including ‘Guess the landmark?’ and ‘Whos Who?’ The guest scoring the most will win the ‘Best of Britain’ trophy.

Guests
-Royal fanatic
-Fish and Chip shop Owner
-Pub landlord

Presenter
-Typically British, male, dressed in a Union Jack suit or dickie bow

Set
-Union Jacks covering the walls
-Framed iconic British pictures eg The Beatles, The Queen
-Regal chaise lounge type sofas, creams and gold

Audience
-Participatory
-Specifically cast: nurses, soldiers, WI members

Multi-platforming ideas
-Website; will include polls that the public can vote on, eg Britains best food, drink, celebrity etc. Also will include videos of behind the scenes material of the three guests and as an extra include other British people not featured on the show but are very British.
-The show will have its own Facebook and Twitter page for schelduling information and to create hype before the actual show.
