Direction Unit: Shot list

Today I had a helpful talk with Simon about my shoot. I am all prepared with my script breakdown as all of the actors are confirmed and all of the props needed are ready. However my shot list just wasnt quite right and more like how I wanted to edit it. This is my new and improved shot list.

Shot list:

Main idea: Lots of edgy of centre shot from all different angles to give the piece a completely feel to the original skins.

Lighting: Not too much lighting, lots of dimly lit shots, that give the feel more of a gritty, grimy feel. I will be using practical lighting as in, I will have a tall lamp in the scene.

Scene 1

·         M/S of Sid- whole scene

·         C/U of Sid’s face

·         C/U of Sid’s phone ringing

Scene 2

·         Dolly shot of Tony walking towards the camera- All dialogue

·         M/S of Tony on phone- All dialogue

·         C/U of his feet

·         EC/U of Tony’s face

Scene 3

·         L/S Side view of Michelle sitting on side of the bath

·         C/U of her face

Scene 4 (same as scene 1, phone conversation)

Scene 5

·         Establishing L/S of room- Whole scene

·         M/S Two Shot of Jaz and Tony

·         M/S Two Shot Chris and Tony

·         C/U of Maxxie- All dialogue

·         C/U of Tony- All dialogue

·         C/U of Jaz- All dialogue

·         C/U of Chris- All dialogue

·         EC/U of playstation controllers.
